DCVLP provides legal advice in CPO, custody, divorce, and immigration cases related to domestic violence and other gender-based violence. We also assist CPO petitioners with CPO advice, drafting supplemental petitions, motions to extend, and contempt filings on a limited basis through our Petitioner’s clinic. We send clients referred by the VLN to the appropriate clinic for legal advice and for our attorneys to assess their cases for full or limited representation. We are still at limited capacity due to COVID, but are slowly beginning to take cases again.
